Tennis Club
Located in the very south of Europe in the award winning Aldemar Resort & Spa on the majestic Hersinissos Peninsula of Crete, the Tennis Club’s geographical position guarantees good weather throughout the whole season, making it a perfect play / practice facility for both professional Teams & Players as well as sport travelers wishing to enjoy their favorite sport.
The Aldemar Tennis Club operates form beginning of April till the end of October.

Tennis courts: 
- 1 Central Court with seating capacity for 250 spectators.
- 6 International Standard Red Clay Courts*
- 1 Half Court with Practice Wall
* One of the courts was designed having in mind the special needs of Physically Challenged persons.
Court Facilities: All courts have chairs and sun-umbrellas, court cleaning and maintenance equipment, shoe cleaning equipment, etc.

TENNIS CLUB
The 2 level Tennis Club offers a full range of facilities for tennis players and enthusiasts including: Reception, Men’s & Women’s Changing Rooms and Lockers, Showers, WC, Storage Room, String Service, Pro Shop, Tennis Café with a magnificent veranda overlooking the courts, etc.

PRO-SHOP 
The  Pro-Shop features apparel, equipment and tennis accessories for men, women & children. The knowledgeable staff is ready to assist with you individual selection equipment as well as racket rental which is available at the shop.

LESSONS & TUTORED PROGRAMS
The Tennis Club offers a wide range of tutored programs and playing lessons for all age groups and playing levels under the supervision of highly qualified multilingual International Professionals.

Dining
Through a maze of culinary paths, Royal Mare Village leads you to microcosms of wondrous delights. The experienced and knowledgeable chefs derive their inspiration from classical recipes and draw up a line of travel to the land of flavor that starts at the bougainvilleas in the cobbled yard, known as El Greco. In accordance with the dictates of authentic Cretan cuisine, anthotyro cheese, olive oil, wild greens and rosemary are indispensable ingredients; vine leaves are patiently and meticulously rolled up; rock fish is cooked over low fire; the quaint smell of smoked food is all around the fireplace; sweets are served with cool raki.
Moving on to the stylish, gourmet Candia Restaurant, we come across creations of Mediterranean gastronomy of the first magnitude, tempting guests to join in wondrous rituals where wine boosts sky-high the flavor of any dish. For those interested in combining thalassotherapy with a wholesome diet, the Spa Cuisine at Royal Mare Village creates well-designed menus made of entirely natural ingredients.
