Kommos beach is located 69 km south of Heraklion town. It is a long sandy beach. Kommos beach is organized with sunbeds, umbrellas, changing rooms, showers and some canteens. Kommos is a beautiful beach between the famous resort area of Matala and Kalamaki. Near the beach is the archaeological site of Kommos.
