Sidonia beach

Sidonia beach or Psari Forada (white horse ) is located 77 km southeast of the city of Heraklion and 36 km west of Ierapetra.
Sidonia is a seaside resort area where you can find rooms for rent taverns, supermarkets. In front of the village lies a large beach with dark gray sand blue waters, and many spots with rocks. Around there are several trees that offer shade. In some places the beach is organized with umbrellas, chairs, showers, while the sports club of Kalami organizes tournaments of beach volley, beach party, football in the sand, swimming, canoeing, in July and August. Beach Sidonia beach takes its name from the horse of General Theophilus who fought and expelled the Arabs.
