Tsoutsouros beach is situated 68 km south of the city of Heraklion. Tsoutsouros or Tsoutsouras is a well developed tourist resort area with many rooms for rent taverns, supermarkets, and a new port which separates two large bays with the two beautiful beaches.
West of the harbor in Pera Tsoutsouros there is a big beautiful beach with sand and pebbles organized with chairs umbrellas and shower. Beside the beach there are rooms for rent, restaurants and mini markets. Expensive next to the port, the beach is with sand and peddles, organized with umbrellas, shower chairs, and lots of shops restaurants, mini markets and a playground for the kids. East of the harbor there is another beautiful long beach with sand and pebbles organized with chairs and umbrellas shower, also find rooms to let, taverns and mini markets. The sea waters of Tsoutsouros have particularly density of salt and iodine and therefore considered by many as therapeutics in rheumatism. In Tsoutsouros village in the winder time there are just 100 residents and in the summers much more. At the beach of Tsoutsouras is not allowed nudism and camping.
